Your child becomes a star when he or she uses the Little Superstar Sing-Along Stage from Fisher-Price. This stage includes two modes for kids to exercise their star power. One mode features five pre-recorded songs that kids can sing along to, and the other allows kids to build their own song with different levels of instrumentals and vocals.

Interactive Introduction to Music

Designed for ages six months and up, the Sing-Along Stage features many different accessories for dancing, singing, and discovery that grow well with your child. Young children can sit in front of the stage and see their reflection in the mirror as they experiment with instrument-shaped buttons, creating the sounds of a xylophone, drum, horn, and guitar while working on fine motor skills.

When they shake the brightly colored microphone, children activate a medley of voices that sing songs. They also activate a colorful light show. Children can practice singing along as they gain verbal skills, and they're helped along with an included set of lyrics on cards. Once children learn to stand, they can also move and dance to the songs they sing, helping them master their gross motor skills.

Easy Setup Lets Kids Focus on the Music

The included instructions for assembly make the Sing-Along Stage easy to set up and use. Two front legs and two back legs snap into the stage base and secure with the included screws. A microphone holder also secures with a screw, and batteries are included to power the stage. With setup this easy, your little superstar will be performing in no time!

The Fun Sounds Zoo is a detailed, interactive playset that brings animals to life in a special way. Place any Little People Zoo Talkers animal on the peg at the hut and it recognizes that specific animal and respond with that animal's name and the sound it makes. The playset incorporates 4 habitats -- grasslands, arctic, jungle and water -- with fun toddler activities on both sides and room for multiple children to play at once. The grasslands feature a pass-through cave and lion's perch; the arctic features a winding waterslide and a perch with squeaking sound effects that exit into the water region below -- there, press the lilypad to get fun sound effects and watch the hippo's mouth open and close. The jungle features a swing, spinning treetop that clicks, a teeter-totter with a clicking noise as it moves and a peek-a-boo door. The ticket area features a button that activates fun phrases and musical ditties about each habitat. it has lots more built-in details, a moveable red flag, perches and peek-a-boo openings for playset play. It comes with lion, polar bear and monkey figures -- match them to their habitats using the signage. It also includes a Zookeeper Zack figure. Animals store in the cave; it has a built-in handle for easy portability.

A Zoo Where Animals Talk to You

The Animal Sounds Zoo includes a polar bear, a lion, and a gorilla to begin zoo play. Press each animal to the red paw pad at the set's base to hear its name, and press it again to hear the sound it makes. This process will teach your child to recognize an animal through its name, the way the animal looks, and the sound it makes. Then, children can match each animal to its habitat. This set includes polar regions, grasslands, jungle, and water environments that are suitable for the included animals and can also accommodate other animals (sold separately).

A Fun-Filled Environment for Animals and Children

Children can also play with the animals on the variety of surfaces the set includes. Go down slides, tilt off teeter-totters, swing on the canopy swing, or pop through the peek-a-boo in a mobile terrain filled with surprises. There are also more sounds to discover, including the squeaking nest on the polar bridge, the lily pad that activates the hippo, and the ticket booth where Zookeeper Zack makes announcements. You can even watch the animals on the included Discovering ZooTalkers DVD and decorate the set with the included stickers!

Zoo Structure Snaps and Screws into Place

This set requires adult assembly, as some of the pieces screw into place. Our testers were pleased that most of the set was able to easily snap in place, and with the included directions, the process was straightforward and clear. The set even comes with a handle on top so you can transport it around later with ease.

Help Cranky and Flynn Put Out the Fire

A fire breaks out on the Island of Sodor, and Cranky needs you to help unload Flynn so he can put out the fire. Place the crate on the loading area with Flynn on the track, and he'll drive into the crate. Use Cranky and the magnet inside his hook to raise the crate onto the loading surface and the doors will fly open. Flynn will race out onto the tracks and knock over the flame tab, which will put out the fire and save the day!

As Flynn continues to drive around the tracks, he can keep driving through the crate or reload into the crate to put out the fire again.

Imaginative Play Encouraged with Remote Controller

With his kind face and friendly introduction, Cranky brings you right into the story of "Day of the Diesels!" The remote controller makes it possible to play with Cranky and Flynn as a firefighting team, allowing all the team members to work together to put out that fire. The remote controller is easy to use with the included instructions--it lowers, raises, and rotates the crane hook and head.

The included full loop of track also stimulates imaginative play, as it allows Flynn the space to continue circling around or to get ready for another firefighting adventure.

Our testers found that some adult assistance will be required for assembly, but once Cranky is up and running, children are fully capable of helping Cranky and Flynn do their jobs.
